4 days tour from Marrakech to Fes is your chance to enjoy the High Atlas Mountains views, visit the famous kasbah of Ait ben Haddou and Ouarzazate. Explore Todra gorges and Dades Valley, experience camel ride with a nigh camping in the Merzouga Sahara Desert.
Itinerary Program
Day 1: Marrakesh - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah-Ouarzazate - Skoura Oases - Roses Valley - Dades gorges
First day of tour will start from Marrakesh towards the High Atlas Mountains by passing through Tizi n'Tichka path where we stop to appreciate the mountain landscape. Passing Tizi n' Tichka bends we will head to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah which is largest Kasbah in Morocco and also has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and several films have been shot here.
We will break for lunch in Ait Ben Haddou and then continue on our drive to Ouarzazate city which is called the "Hollywood of Morocco" and Morocco's filmmaking location. Here are the biggest film studios in Morocco, the Atlas Studios who invite many international companies to work in Quarzazate. Moreover, we will visit historical monuments in Taourirt Kasbah. After Ouarzazate we will drive and experience the charm of landscapes of Kasbahs and roses valley and also drive through the Berber villages of Skoura, Kalaa des M'Gouna and Boumalane Dades. We will visit the Gourge Dades where you will see the amazing rock formation known as ("Monkey Toes"). Nightly accommodation will be enjoyed in a hotel in Gorge Dades.
Day 2: Dades Gorge - Todgha Gorge - Tinjdad – Merzouga (Camel ride and night at desert camp)
Second day of tour will start from Gorge Dades into Merzouga which has the largest and highest sand dunes in Morocco, Erg Chebbi. Then we will pass Tinghir and head to Gorge Todra which is the narrowest Gorge in Morocco. When we leave Todra Gorge we will pass through different Berber villages such Tinjdad where we will stop and have lunch. Then we will pass through Mallab, Tourog, Jourf, Erfoud and Rissani. After Rissani we make our way to Merzouga where you will have a glass of mint tea before your camel ride. Thereafter, you will go by camel with a professional camel man and stay in a traditional Berber camp overnight in the middle of the sand dunes and listen to drum music under the moon and stars.Day 3: Merzouga 4x4 excursion - Khamlia Village - Nomad family
After breakfast, we will move to the village of Khamlia: a desert village 7 km from Merzouga. A different itinerary, on this occasion that will show us the culture, habits and customs of its inhabitants, the black Gnawa descendants of slaves, with live performances of their traditional music with the exhibition of their instruments, mostly percussion with the who dance and accompany each other in their songs. Then we will visit the M’fis mines, nomadic families and the Tisrdmin Oasis. Then we will return to the hotel. We will have free time for lunch and in the afternoon, the wonderful sunset awaits us. We will take a dromedary per person that will take us to the place where we will contemplate the dusk. Next, we will go to our jaimas where we will have dinner at the accommodation to enjoy this magnificent environment.Day 4: Merzouga - Ziz Valley - Midelt - Azrou - Ifran - Fes
We will wake up early to be able to marvel at the impressive African sunrise from the great dune. After breakfast we will return to the hotel from which with the 4x4 we will leave for Fes. We will pass through the town of Erfud, and the palm grove of Tafilalet. We will also pass through the Ziz valley, the Errachidia reservoir, Midelt where we will have free time to eat. During the trip we will also visit the cedar forest in Azrou and the town of Ifrane: known by the nickname of the little Moroccan Switzerland.
We will arrive in the late evening to Fes. Dinner and it will be the end of our service.
