7 Days Tour from Casablanca to The Desert & Fes

Day 1: Meet you in Casablanca airport and drive to Fes

We will meet and greet you in Casablanca Airport and transfer you directly to Fez where you will spend the night.

Day 2: Fes Sightseeing

After breakfast in your riad, we will begin our tour around Fez and visit the Mellah, which is oldest one in Morocco which was built in the 15th century. We will see the Royal palace gate, the Jewish headquarter, Nejjarine Museum of wooden arts and crafts, Kairaouine Mosque and University, and other things. After our day of sightseeing in Fez we will walk through the souks and spend overnight in a hotel there.

Day 3: Fes – Merzouga (Camel trek in Erg Chebbi sand dunes & night at a tent in middle dunes).

In the morning after breakfast, we will leave Fez towards the desert and pass through Ifran City which is looked on as the (“Switzerland of Morocco”) or as Moroccans call it. Then we will visit Azrou forest which is famous for its aromatic cedar trees and where the wild Barbary macaque monkeys known as “Magots” are located. Here we will stop few minutes to take some pictures of the wild monkeys. Afterwards, we will head to Midelt City along the wonderful hills and mountains of the Middle Atlas Mountains. After Midelt we will cross Tizi Ntlghamt path and Ziz Gorge, and pass through Tizi Ntlghamt where you will notice how the landscape and nature changes the nearer to Errachidia City you get. You will see dry land and enter the oasis and veldts world. Afterwards; you will travel along the Ziz Valley, and stop to appreciate the panoramic views along the road and take some pictures. We will then pass through the small cities of Erfoud and Rissani. After Erfoud and Rissani we will travel directly to Merzouga which is about 30 Km from Rissani and we will arrive in the evening and have tea before camel trekking with professional camel man to enjoy the night in Berber tents in the middle of the sand dunes and have dinner there under the moon and stars.

Day 4: Merzouga - Toudgha Gorges – Boumalane Dades - Dades Gorge

After you see the sunrise, the camel man will bring you back to your hotel where you can shower and have breakfast. Afterwards, we will return to Rissani and you will visit an old market which sells unique handcrafts, clothes and dates. Then we will leave to the highest narrowest Gorge of Morocco (GORGE TODGHA). After Gorge Todgha we will head to Boumalane Dades and discover Valley of Dades and see its amazing majestic rock structure called the (“Monkeys Toes”). Overnight stay in Gorge Dades.

Day 5: Dades Gorge – Kalaat Magouna – Skoura - Ouarzazate - Ait ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakesh

After breakfast in hotel in Gorge Dades we will drive to Ouarzazate and pass through Skoura oasis with its authentic Kasbahs, and then Ouarzazate which is known as the “Hollywood of Desert” and of Morocco generally. Ouarzazate is a province of Souss-Mass-Draa in southern-central Morocco. Whilst sightseeing in Ouarzazate you will see a Taourirt Kasbah which was the Kasbah of former Caid Thami El Glaoui, and many movies have been filmed here at the Atlas Studios. After Ouarzazate we will drive to the fortified village of Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou which is under UNESCO World Heritage Site. After Ait Ben Haddou we will travel directly to Marakesh by crossing through the bends of Tizi Ntichka in the High Atlas Mountain. After the Tizi Ntichka bends we will enter Marrakesh town at evening.

Day 6: Marrakesh Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will meet local guide and start your sightseeing tour.

Day 7: Transfer to the airport

After your breakfast in hotel/riad, we will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight home.
